Minimum Age: 23 years old.

Experience: Three (3) years over-the-road of which 90 days must be flatbed. This experience must be verifiable with an ICC Carrier.

No DUI/DWI in previous five (5) years.

No convictions for drug possession/possession for resale.

CITATIONS

No convictions for leaving the scene of an accident.

Maximum of two (2) SPEEDING TICKETS, BUT no EXCESSIVE SPEEDING (15 MPH or more over posted speed limit), for previous two (2) years.

No serious violations in previous 2 years.

No chargeable accidents in previous 2 years.

No accidents that are chargeable and involving a fatality (s) for previous 5 years.

No hit and run citation.

Must be able to pass a DOT physical and drug test.

Must have current CDL; Class A license from the state the driver resides in.

Hiring Authority – Alex Fucci

All prospective drivers, including Owners Operators shall complete a company application in their own hand writing. All required entries shall be completed. If a block does not apply, the driver should enter N/A. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

No employee of A & A Express shall make any marks on the applications.

When completed applications are received, the following steps shall be completed.

1. Order MVR (Motor Vehicle Report) for previous three year history.
2. Background investigation as required by 49 CFR part 391 subpart C391.23.
3. Pre-Employement Drug Test.

No job offer shall be extended until the above procedures have been completed and a hard copy for a negative drug test is received.

Once the above procedures have been completed, a driver must go through a two day training/orientation program.
